Acne scars and atrophic scars (sunken scars)

Once acne is cured, it sometimes leaves behind scars. One possible treatment in this case uses an erbium:YAG laser or Fraxel CO2 laser, and we also perform various superficial and medium-depth peeling procedures.

Age spots (sun spots, Lentigines solares)

are brown benign pigmentations that have been caused by sun exposure. A highly effective treatment is possible using the short-pulsed Nd:YAG laser or the pulsed light lamp, often only one session is needed. Peels or the Fraxel CO2 laser are also sometimes used.

Senile warts (seborrhoeic warts, seborrhoeic keratosis)

are removed using an erbium:YAG laser or curettage.

Spider veins

Besides sclerotherapy, these can also be treated using the long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser. This method is particularly suitable for problematic localisations such as the ankle area.

Connective tissue nodules

are removed using a curette or an erbium:YAG laser.

Haemangiomas

develop in nearly everyone over their lifetime, mainly on their torso. These red, pinpoint-sized skin changes can be treated very easily and effectively, usually in just one session, using a KTP laser.

Bruxism

describes nocturnal teeth grinding. In cooperation with your dentist we can inject botulinum specifically into the masticatory muscles to help significantly improve the condition, reduce chewing areas being worn away and prevent tension headaches.

Couperosis (rosacea erythematosa)

Extensive reddening of the cheeks and other parts of the face can be reduced in 2-5 sessions using the pulsed light lamp.

Dermal naevi

Removal is possible using the erbium:YAG and CO2 laser, or alternatively by means of cauterisation.

Enlarged veins (teleangiectasias)

These often develop on the face in rosacea (couperosis) or as part of skin ageing. Treatment using the KTP laser is possible and highly effective in 1-2 sessions.

Enlarged pores

Depending on your skin findings we can offer therapy using our Fraxel CO2 laser or using various peels (e.g. glycolic acid, TCA, combination peel) in several sessions.

Erythrosis interfollicularis colli

describes a red-brown pigmentation on the sides of your neck, which develops over time as a result of UV light. Using the pulsed light lamp we can reduce this condition very effectively in 2-5 sessions.

Wrinkles

Experience is especially called for when treating wrinkles as every face is unique. Depending on the area of the face, we can use different procedures. In the upper third of your face, we predominantly use botulinum. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid or lactic acid can lift wrinkles such as the nasolabial fold or the corners of your mouth. An extensive reduction in wrinkles in the cheeks can be achieved using non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, Fraxel-CO2 laser or peels. And modelling the face, for example to accentuate the cheekbones, is carried out using calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse®) or cross-linked hyaluronic acid.

Port-wine stain

Depending on the extent and localisation, port-wine stains can severely impact your well-being. Therapy uses pulsed light lamp in multiple sessions.

Fibromas (pedunculated warts)

These little skin changes occur mainly on the neck, under the armpits, under the breast or on the eyelids. Besides simply removing them with a curette, they can be removed, for example using the erbium:YAG laser and by means of other ablative procedures.

Drooping corners of the mouth

make the face appear sad and tired. Using a combination of botulinum and various fillers, these are lifted and your facial expression will once again look as happy as you feel.

Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Sweating is a normal process. However, excessive sweating can cause considerable psychological stress. Do you also suffer from underarm wetness? Are you hands consequently often icy cold? Do you avoid some activities and does it influence your choice of clothing? We can help, effectively and reliably. Using botulinum injections, sweat gland activity is reduced for many months and you will feel comfortable in your skin again.

Hypertrophic scars (thickened scars) and keloids (scar growth)

Treatment with our erbium:YAG laser or CO2 laser can help.

Crow’s feet (laughter lines around the eyes)

The treatment of choice is botulinum. In addition, depending on the findings, we can offer treatment using our Fraxel-CO2 laser, hyaluronic acid or peels.

Lip enhancement (augmentation)

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is particularly used for this.

Milia (milk spots)

can often be removed by specialist medical beauticians. However, if these are too large, are too deep or are located too close to the eye they are treated by us doctors, for example using our erbium:YAG laser.

Mouth creases

These small, radial wrinkles around the mouth are often seen in smokers. Depending on the degree of severity, they are lifted with hyaluronic acid or the skin is regenerated over the entire using the Fraxel-CO2 laser or with peels.

Nail fungus (onychomycosis)

Besides traditional therapy with tablets or special nail paint, we provide an entirely new method: in an individualised treatment, therapy can be carried out using the long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser. The erbium:YAG laser can also be used to remove the thickened nail plate.

Pigment disorders (chloasma, Melasma)

In addition to strictly avoiding sunlight and discontinuing all supplementary hormones, therapy using creams and peels can help.

Spider naevi

occur mainly on the face in children and adults. They are very effectively treated using our KTP laser.

Excessive hair growth

Both men and women suffer from this. Treatment is performed using the pulsed light lamp or the long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser in multiple sessions and is performed by us, in contrast to other institutes, by dermatology consultants.

Striae (stretch marks)

Reddish streaks can be reduced using the long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser. The skin texture can be improved using our Fraxel-CO2 laser.

Syringomas

Syringomas on the lower eyelids are removed using our erbium:YAG laser.

Sebaceous gland growths

These benign skin changes are removed using our erbium:YAG laser, CO2 laser or by cauterisation.

Tattoos

Sometimes people don’t want to keep their tattoos on their body forever. They can be removed in stages over multiple sessions using the short-pulsed Nd:YAG laser.

Tear troughs

To fill a deep tear trough, we primarily use cross-linked hyaluronic acid.

Warts

If other therapy procedures are unsuccessful, we can attempt therapy using the CO2 laser with local anaesthetic.

Xanthelasmas (fatty deposits around the eyelids)

are removed using our erbium:YAG laser, alternatively we can offer surgery.
